ALCHEMY

Alchemy happens through two stages.

The first one sees gold being turned into highly malleable mohair and ductile cotton, stones into delicate and pure wool. The result is this surprising Victorian reversed crown collection.

In stage two, the jewelleries follow the inverse path and turn entirely into precious metals and stones.

This work was showxased at Mulhouse textile eco-museum, Wesserling Park, in France, as part of a group exhibition celebrating the 200 year anniversary of DMC.
