After taking calligraphy class, I decided to learn more about ink paintings and Sofie Dieu's black and white abstract ink painting class was a perfect place to start. I really like how action packed the class was and how we went though various techniques and learned a lot of ways of using ink and textures. Using ink seems to combine deliberate and unplanned development of your ideas on paper. I also really liked adding gold leaf to our abstract paintings. Sofie is very knowledgeable, professional and helpful. Highly recommend her classes to everyone.
